Meet the Camaras
The holidays found the Camara family far from home for their son’s critical heart surgery at Rady Children’s Hospital. When they arrived at Ronald McDonald House San Diego, they found it glowing with holiday spirit. Inside their room, decorated mini holiday trees were waiting for their children, a small surprise that made a hard season lighter. More than a place to stay, they found a community of families who understood. Far from their Hawaii home, they had a home for the holidays.
