Give families a home for the holidays

When a child is in the hospital, Ronald McDonald House® San Diego keeps their family close, at no cost to families. This season, help make sure no family spends the holidays apart.

Meet the Camaras

The holidays found the Camara family away from home, caring for their sick child. When they arrived at Ronald McDonald House San Diego, they found it glowing with holiday spirit. Inside their room, decorated mini holiday trees were waiting for their children, a small surprise that made a hard season lighter. This holiday season, Amelia and Clyde are decorating trees for their loved ones, sharing the love and warmth they received at the House.

“Every family who walks through their doors is navigating the heavy challenges of caring for a sick child, but [the House] lifts that weight and allows us to simply be a family.”
